Frank Dematteo is a 2000 graduate of the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy (CCMT). He is state licensed, nationally certified, and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA). Frank is trained in many styles and techniques, yet specializes in deep tissue/trigger point work and clinical sports massage for rehabilitation and focus work. He has been a teacher’s assistant at CCMT and tutors students to better their techniques. Frank continues to expand his knowledge and add to his work through further education. Frank has been a part of A Touch Of Health’s team since the spring of 2001.
 

Anne Davis graduated from CCMT in 2003 where she was honored with an academic and hands-on excellence award. Anne is Connecticut state licensed, nationally certified, and an AMTA member. As a practicing massage therapist, she specializes in Swedish massage, where she incorporates the use of deep tissue techniques. She is also certified in Hot Stone and Mother Massage* and has studies Reflexology. Anne actively broadens her education and spectrum of massage techniques by taking continuing education courses. She has helped other massage students with their education through tutoring. Anne has been with A Touch of Health’s team since fall 2003.

 

Cora Blancato is a 2003 graduate of CCMT from the Wellness and Prevention Program. Since graduation she has assisted and tutored at CCMT, and she is Connecticut state licensed, nationally certified, and a member of the AMTA. As a practicing massage therapist, she works with a variety of techniques for effectiveness and adds understanding to aid her clients. Cora also offers onsite chair massage for a variety of special events. She is a working artist and holds a B.S. in art education from Central Connecticut State University (CCSU). She enjoys traveling, reading, and collecting antiques. Cora has been a part of A Touch of Health’s team since the summer of 2004.

 

Susan Ferguson graduated in 2003, with honors, from the Advanced Anatomy Massage Academy in Chicago, Illinois. She is nationally certified, Connecticut state Licensed, and AMTA member and an Associated Body Workers and Massage Professionals member. Susan is also a 3rd level Reiki Practitioner. She is interested in many different forms of energy medicine and recently traveled to Machu Pichu to study Shamanism with the Q’ero Indians of Peru. She integrates many Shaman techniques into her energy healings, as well as integrating Reiki with massage. She also works with crystals, stones and essential oils and flower essences. She continues her education in energy medicine and massage therapy in order to better serve the needs of her clients. Susan has been with A Touch of Health since the fall of 2004

 
Sharon Csutor-King is a state licensed, nationally certified massage therapist and a member of the AMTA. She graduated in 1992 from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy. Her interest was originally in physical therapy but found massage therapy to be a great alternative for those in need of rehabilitation and therapy. Over the years, she has studied and been trained in many different styles and techniques of massage therapy. Sharon is certified in Mother Massage* and Hot Stone Massage. She has also been educated in fitness and nutrition. Her main focus has been to incorporate and utilize all techniques into each session through understanding each individual’s needs. Sharon has worked with a wide range of people: from a 3 month old baby to a 93 year old woman, from a person in need of a deep relaxation massage to a person on dialysis. Through massage therapy, she has been able to satisfy one of her greatest passions: helping those in need. She continues to expand upon her knowledge and education. She also tutors other massage therapists, and has been doing so over the past 12 years. Sharon is the proprietor of A Touch Of Health, which she started in 1993.
